[Ponte Alto] Story/history behind The Log

Recently, the log was brought up in conversation after the Baronial Business Meeting.  The Baroness was asking if anyone knew the story/history behind it.  Celia filled in some of the background, and I'd love to have more in order to write a story for Il Tempo.
