[Ponte Alto] Pennsic Food Plan

 ooooooh, a Pennsic Virgin! (I can say that now-couldn't last year)       well, that's 3 of us so far. now we just need to pay a couple of slaves to wash dishes(or does that go in "people unclear on the concept" category :-) 

Bevin, I've no idea how much camping you do/what gear you do or don't have. find the various lists available,and let us know what you lack that some of us may be able to lend. I do have a 6 person land-pimple,and a folding cot and air mattresses fit it,( not super wide- 29" but it gets one off the ground,and allows storage underneath- I also have a bunch of rubber-maid totes that fit- keep things organized and safe from water.  anything one borrows from me will need to be picked up before I leave for Pennsic,as I will have not even 1/2 square foot of cargo space left.

Dear Pontoons:
 
I will be camping with Ponte Alto on the second week of Pennsic this year. I was asked by the Baron and Baroness if I would be willing to coordinate a Pennsic food plan for the encampment and I am.  I did this about three years ago and it was fun. 
 
The food plan will consist of breakfast from Sunday July 31st-Saturday Aug. 6th. Lunch from the same days and Dinner from Saturday July 30th-Friday Aug 5th. For breakdown Saturday night and Sunday I will use leftovers and toss some eats together. I feel that $55 /person should be adequate. ( In 2008 I asked for $45/person).
 
It will take about 5 trips to Walmart,etc. to purchase food items and sundries for that week. Because of the cost of gas I will be offering $10 to the individuals who will do that "food run". 
 
Also I will be setting up a schedule for different people to do clean-up, ice runs, to cook a meal, etc. I have no problem cooking breakfast daily, lunch will be available and help with dinner will be appreciated. 
 
I will be out of town for a few days, so the individuals who will be camping with Ponte Alto, please think about it. I will be glad to start answering questions on Monday.
