Candice, may I ask about your source? I would really like to try sewing with linen on the machine, but usually I only find linen 'zwirn' which is unsuitable for it, so I never tried as of yet

I'm looking for linen thread for machine sewing. My only source is in Texas and hard to get in touch with from time to time. Usually when I need it most, as things usually are.

Check with Needlewoman East and with In Stitches to see if they carry DMC linen embroidery floss or some other brand.  Give them a call first to see if they do so you can save a trip in case they don't.  Otherwise, you can order online at http://www.shopdmc.com/spthpa.html
