There is a Ballfield across the street from the Church and next to the fieldhouse on the street that the starbucks is on.  It is easy to get permission to get the field lit.  Last time we were there the football players leaving the field just showed us where the box was and how to turn the lights on and off.

Well,
 I live on Ft. Belvoir in Lewis Village. I should have aske this question months ago, when and where I guess? There is a soccer field up here in my neck of the woods as well as the baseball field next to the elementary school. Though Neither are lit at night.

When I was there TDY we held a couple practices on Post.  We ended up right off the Ball field off of main street next to the field house.  I was also looking at the parking lot across from the barracks by the outdoor stage.
 
Both spots have lighting and seem to get good traffic.
