Greetings and well met!

Atlantian's poets continue to amazing and inspire! After the recent
successful competition at Flight of the Falcon and a wonderful showing of
poets and other performing artists at Performer's Revel South, I want to
spread the word of a couple other upcoming competitions!

First, there will be a poetry competition at War of the Wings
VI<http://warofthewings.com/>
. On Friday, October 7, there will be a poetry competition, sponsored by the
current Poeta Atlantiae. The poems submitted should be themed around a
battle between any of the symbols of the principle baronies (a diamond,
raven, phoenix or hawk). Documentation is not required, but is preferred.

Next, there will be a poetry competition at Boar
Hunt<http://www.charlesbury.atlantia.sca.org/events.htm>on October 29.
Please theme your verses around a hunt of some sort (hunting
one's true love could definitely count)!

I would also like to personally encourage our kingdom's poets to come and
share their words at In a Phoenix
Eye<http://www.croisbrigte.org/phoenixeye2011.htm>,
on November 12, which is shaping up to be quite a showing of Atlantia's Arts
& Sciences. I'll definitely be in attendance and look forward to seeing many
of my fellow bards there!
