[Ponte Alto] Tournament of Love and Beauty heraldic and banner Competition

Greeting to all,

I am pleased to announce that Lord Connor Sinclair and I will be hosting a banner competition at the upcoming Tournament of Love and Beauty in Leesburg, VA on February 20th.  While all knights, barons, lords, squires and men at arms who intend to participate in the tourney should bring with them their best displays of heraldic achievements, including banners, shields, surcoats and crests, let this not deter ANY good gentle who would like to bring their own display and bear it proudly.

While the theme is Love and Beauty, this competition is open to ALL themes of banners, and the banners can be newly made or have been displayed proudly time and time again.  Truly, the intent is to festoon the arena with such panoply as to delight the eye of every beholder, and dazzle the participants and audience alike.

There will be a competition with a prize awarded to the banner most preferred by the populace.  For those who intend to bring a banner(s) to display, please also bring supplies necessary for hanging or displaying as we will not be able to provide those.

We are looking forward to seeing the best that everyone has to offer!
