Our two female fighters weren't the only ones to get roses.  Brenainn won as well and received a rose for his win.

Ru and Iohann made it into the top 16 for the main tournament.  Semja, Dan, Theresa, and I competed in the novice tournament.  It was an Atlantian Quick tournament format.  Double elim.  We did not win, but all our fighters made a good showing.  We all worked with the Order of the Kraken during the Kraken tourney.  They were very gracious in their critiques and assistance.  The Rose tourney was a blast.  Cunian and Theresa received special recognition from The Ladies of the Rose as being the only two female fighters to compete in the tourney.  I am happy to say that all ladies from Ponte Alto that were in attendance at the Rose tourney did receive a rose.  We fielded a team of 6 for the melees.  We placed second behind Caer Maer with a total token count of 20.  Caer Maer had 26.  Our team consisted of Ru, Dan, Theresa, Dem, Cunian, and Vels.  Our herald was Iohann.
