Dearest Pontoons!

As we've already heard, you rock!  As usual, We were excited to see not only the numerous new faces, but those that been supporting this Barony for many years.

Here is a summary of the results of the day.

Martial:
Rapier - Sir Guy le Strange won the both the Rapier Tourney and the Exhibition Tourney
Heavy - Prince Roak of Eldomere won the Heavy Tourney and Sir William Thomas won the Exhibition Tourney 

Arts:
Baroness' Food Challenge - Lady Sophia van der Werken - prepared a scrumptions stuffed beef roll and barley/rice dish along with fabulous warmed grapes - recipe please!
Baronial Artisan - We were very happy to see the 5 Pontoons who wished to be Our Artisan and of those, we selected Lord Geoffrey ap Clewyd with his Nautical Display.
Baronial Bard - There were two that vied for this position and we selected Mistress Belphoebe de Givet to be our Baronial Bard.

Officers:
Chatelaine: Lady Emma West accepted this position going forward.
Seneschal: Countess Denise Duvalier accepted the keys to this Barony.

We also had a wonderful performance by Alle Psallite right before our first court and they will be performing again at KASF on this upcoming weekend.

Baroness Graçia Esperança de Sevilla again warmed our hearts, souls, and bellies with her great feast honoring both Love and Beauty - the centerpiece being Aphrodite herself. Beautiful and very tasty presentation!

Last, but certainly not least - we were very honored to bring the Autocrat - Lady Wulfwyn Ælfwines dohtor - into the Order of the Garland. Wulfwyn, we thank you for putting on a wonderful event - it was truly enjoyed.

Without the numerous people that worked during the day Saturday, Friday to set up, those that stayed on Saturday to make sure that the last tile was mopped and this event represented the barony well, it would not have gone so smoothly.
