Greetings,

This is one of the jobs of the Society Chronicler that I truly enjoy.
This year I have added the “Most Improved” category.  This award is
judged from seeing where the chronicler has started and with steady
improvement to the end of the year.  Again, the “Best Electronic
Layout” has been merged with “Best Layout and Design” category.  This
year Drachenwald and Lochac sent submission in and it was wonderful to
see how the newsletters differ from nation to nation and the
differences in style from English speaking to other languages.  I
would like to thank all of the Kingdom Chroniclers for all of the hard
work that they put into the newsletters, developing new talent, and
administration of the job on the whole.  It is truly a thankless job,
if you are doing your job well, no one thinks about it and when it
isn’t going well, you are known by all.

I would like to say that this year’s “Best Articles” nominees were by
far the best I have seen.  We had serious scholarly work as well as
helpful information in how to play our game.  It was by far the
hardest section to judge.

Winners will receive a Blackfox token, a certificate, and the right to
use “Master William Blackfox Award Winner, category, AS XLIII” in
their newsletters with the Blackfox logo.   Commended entries will
receive a certificate as well.

Congratulations to the winners,

Herr Otto von Schwyz

Society Chronicler
