Greetings everyone,

As promised, I am posting the results of the Chalice Challenges at Coronation/Chalice of the Sun God V. First, here are the points that every team garnered.

As you may recall, the way we count points is that the top five places in each category get points for their team. So first place gets 10 points, second 8, third 6, fourth 4, and fifth 2. In the case of a tie, we just gave points to the first five people. For instance if there was a tie in second place, two folks got 8 points and there was no fifth place. However, we did get a couple of cases in which the tie was at fifth place. We gave them the 2 points. This will be more fine tuned next year, but it did not make a difference since this year there was no risk of of a tie with the first three place teams.

Last but not least, here is the list of the new Chalice Champs:

1. A&S: Lady Alina Silverthorne. Kept her title with her woven towel (Brocaded) after being challenged by Lady Rhianna Wirlwind, who won that right with her fabulous pomegranate syrup. ALina becomes a thrice Chalice Champ with this victory.

2. Performing: The Bright Hills Performers won the right to challenge the fabulous ladies Ambra and Elishabeth, who defended their title. After two riveting performances, the Bright Hill Performers won the day and are now the new Chalice Champs for Performing.

3. Archery: Lord Theodore Billings won the right to challenge His Excellency, Baron Jonathas, who after a very exciting face-off, kept his title of Chalice Archery Champ for the second year in a row.

4. Rapier: Lord Connor Levingstoune defended his title in a deja vu match against Lord Dominky Wolferam, having held that title for 3 years in a row. This year, the Sun Gods smiled upon Dominyk, who wrestled the title from Connor and became the new Chalice Champ.

5. Armored: This year the title of Armored Chalice Champ was up for grabs, since the current champion was not able to come and defend his title. In the end, it was up to Duke Valharic and Sir Marc d'Aubigny to duke it out (no pun intended). Victory went to Duke Valharic after Sir Marc surrender to the showers.

6. Youth Rapier: Marina Wymarc earned the right to challenge Eva, last year's Youth Rapier Champ. After a tie in points, these delightful young ladies agreed to fight the prize on a game of chance. Marina prevailed and became the new Youth Rapier Chalice Champ.

7. Youth Armored: For the first time ever, Chalice of the Sun God featured a competition for youth armored fighters. There were competitors in three divisions, and the winners were Rose in Division 1, Carl Bigaxe in Division 2, and Helga in Division 3.

Vivant to all of the Chalice participants and winners, and we'll see you next year for the next round!

Yours in Service,

Belphoebe
