[Ponte Alto] Reminder Second Mini Tourney.... May 18th This Sunday...

For the second of the monthly mini tourneys we welcome you to the barony of Ponte Alto.  This month we are running a Ragnarock tourney on Sunday the 18th of May.  The tourney is to be fought with your favorite weapon of choice.
Location: Pimmet Park [Map] Right behind the Library
First Part: Endurance
Each fighter will in turn hold the field, fighting every fighter in the tourney.  All wins will be recorded for that fighter.  Then the next fighter will hold the field.  
 
Based on the Endurance phase of the tourney lives for each fighter will be calculated based on their performance in the first part.  The fighter with the most wins shall add 1 to their tally this will be the Base Lives calculation number.  Each fighter will subtract their total wins from the Base Lives calculation.  
 
Example:
Squire Joe has the most wins with 6 wins the Base Lives number is set to 7 (6+1=7).  Squire Joe will start with 1 life (7-6=1), due to having 6 wins.  Newbie Bob had only 1 win so his lives will be set to 6 (7-1=6).
 
Second Part: Strategy
Each fighter shall at this time be given tokens representing each of their lives.  They are to give these tokens to their Second, i.e. that person who inspires them that day, a friend or anyone willing to hold the tokens for them.
At this point a grand melee will be fought with each fighter only fighting one opponent at a time.  The looser of the fight shall go retrieve one of their life tokens and put it in the lives container.  Once the fighter has no life tokens left that fighter is out of the tourney.
Awards shall be given to the fighter who has the most wins in the Endurance phase and also to the winner of the Strategy phase.  
 
This is an unofficial event garb is encouraged but not required.  Also fighters are encouraged to bring a Second  to hold their life tokens in the Strategy phase of the tourney.
