[Ponte Alto] Highland River Melees

Greetings to the Tavern!

I have been asked by the Autocrat of Highland River Melees to organize and host a?bake sale, at the request of the Crown, to benefit the Children's Fete during Pennsic.? Anyone that has attended or volunteered for the Children's Fete will attest to how?rewarding and?fun it is for both children and adults.? It's a time set aside specifically for the little ones for games, face painting, activities and general fun where they're safe and supervised for a few hours by the many?volunteers that come forward?to help.? 

If you would like to donate to the bake sale, please contact me?off list?so I'll know what to be expecting.? We'll be happy to accept cookies, cakes, candies, breads, anything you would like to bring.? (Even if you visit the bakery section of your local grocery, that's OK, too.? Just make sure you repackage your purchase so you can tell everyone you made it yourself...I'll never tell)

I do?request if you bring cookies or candy, that you package them individually?beforehand as I will not have the supplies - or the time - to package them for you.? Depending upon the size of the cookies or candies, I'd suggest packing two to three per package;?the self sealing?type of bags or plastic wrap are highly recommended.? And as the weather during this event is historically warm, please consider bringing something that won't melt - anything made of or?covered in chocolate is especially messy!

We always have a good turnout for this event, and as it is held in a public park, we'll have many people from the mundane world?strolling through?who'll?want to buy your goodies.? ?The good gentles of Atlantia always come through for bakes sales, so let's all support this very worthwhile cause.? I?looking forward?to hearing from many of you in the next few weeks.
