[Ponte Alto] Surgery #3 for Michael "Steve Austin" Saint-Sever

Michael had his 3rd Surgery on Friday (non-Endoscopic) for the new
Aneurysm, and while it (unsurprisingly) wound-up being more
complicated than originally expected (Michael, of course, being an
unusually complicated sort of bloke), the 7+ hour surgery went well
and the Doctor said he Michael looked good (so I guess he goes that
way).

With all the surgeries and the Doctors' drawings about what's going on
and what they're doing, Barbara says she's beginning to feel like she
married the six million dollar man. She wishes... not sure what the
U.S. Marshall pension is like these days, but I'm thinking it's not
that high.

He did well recovering on Saturday, but by the end of the day he began
to experience fatigue and needed some sleep. They're hoping that he
can be transferred to a different area in a few days and perhaps could
even be out of the hospital by the 4th of July! Independence Day
(goodbye Stalag 17... hello Freedom)!

He is in a different ICU ward than he was previously where they have
harsher regulations (this one has four one-hour visitor sessions
during the day with only two people allowed at a time). Consequently,
Barbara is asking that people hold-off trying to visit him until he is
transferred to a different section.

Again, cards can be sent to their home, or people can wait to see him
when he returns home (post-Independence Day, with all the multiple
meanings inherent therein).

As e'er, everyone's thoughts and prayers and best wishes have been
tremendously meaningful to the entire family and have done wonders for
everyone's spirits.

I know they continue to be thankful.

In service,

Max Von Halstern
