Good day to all,

Do you like to cook?  Do you like to eat?  Then join us this Wednesday at
7:00PM for our monthly Cooks Guild meeting.

This month, the Cooks Guild will use the meeting to cook some of the food we
will serve at the feast of Stierbach's Baronial Birthday.  This is a special
meeting and we will not cook food to eat.  However, everyone is welcome to
bring some munchies to sustain the cooking effort. :)

Don't know how to cook?  Come learn some tips and techniques that you can
use in and out of the SCA.

We are back to our usual haunts, the house of fellow cook Iustinos.
 The address is:
13 Jermyn Court
Sterling, VA


Directions from Route 28, South and West:

Take your best route to the end of Route 28 where it intersects with Route 7
and merge on to Route 7 East towards Tysons Corner.

Get over into the far left lane as quickly as you are safely able to do so.
At the first traffic light, turn left on to Countryside Blvd.

Turn right at the second traffic light (first one after after the shopping
center on the right) on to Cromwell Rd.

If you pass an elementary school on your right, you have just missed the
turn.

On your left, you will pass a one-way street (Vandercastel Rd). Start
looking for parking as this is the best place to find it.



If you missed Countryside, don't panic, just turn LEFT onto Palisades
Parkway (the next light after Countryside).

This gives you a little more time to cross 3+ lanes of traffic

Just behind the Borders Bookstore, turn left on Triple Seven Rd.


Directions from Tysons Corner and points between there and Sterling on Route
7:

Take your best route to the intersection of Palisades Parkway and Route 7.

Heading West on Route 7, turn right onto Palisades Parkway, then left at the
first light onto Triple Seven Road. Palisades is the first light after the
Cascades Parkway interchange.

The third left is Cromwell Rd. As in the directions above, Cromwell is the
best place to find parking.

The only difference is that you will come to the correct direction of travel
down Vandercastel first as you're approaching it from the other direction.


Iustinos' townhous is the first townhouse parking lot on the left as you
travel with traffic on Vandercastel Rd.

There is visitor parking on Vandercastel, but there is no visitor parking on
Jermyn Court.
