If I could take a moment and address your e-mail that went to the entire Barony.  Sir Thomas and I are indeed enjoying our little bundle of joy & I am enjoying being a new Mommy :-)  I have 3 years as a Regional Seneschal for the state of VA along with other SCA offices and would enjoy a local office because of the baby.  



As Regional Seneschal one of my main responsibilities was taking 16 reports from the state of VA and compiling a regional report for the Kingdom Seneschal.   I feel qualified to say that I can perform the duties of a local seneschal and be a Mommy at the same time.  I can reassure the you and Barony that, were I not confident that I could handle the job, I would not have placed my name in the hat. 

Baron Marcellus is also a capable candidate for local seneschal and I feel the Barony will be in exceptional hands no matter who is selected

Both are great candidates.  I would opt for Baron Marcellus
– since Countess D  is a new mommy and new mommy’s usually=0
Ahave a little bundle of joy that has more pressing needs than the SCA.

Greetings Pontoons,





As you have found out, Baron James de Biblesworth and I have been selected to
serve as your next Baron & Baroness and we are very excited to do so. With
this though, I need to step down as your Seneschal, but there are two
candidates who can take over for me. Both will do a wonderful job, but as this
is an important decision, I need your input on who you believe would be best
for this barony.





The two candidates are: Baron Marcellus di Capozello and Countess Denise
Duvalier.





I am collecting feedback on these two candidates, but as I am supportive of both
and believe either would do a good job for the barony, the final decision will
be made by our Kingdom Seneschal - Baron William Welwyn.





Please send me all feedback by next Friday, December 26th.





As I said in the business meeting on Sunday, I've very much enjoyed my tenure
as your Seneschal and look forward to serving as your Baroness.
