Your Excellency,

The Academie d'Espee is not an event.  It is the
premier rapier guild in Atlantia.  Their highest rank
is that of the Provosts, which is comprised of most of
the members of the Order of the White Scarf, the
highest award for rapier in Atlantia.

The other two ranks are Scholar, which is the entry
level and whereas you will see gentles wearing a blue
scarf.

The advanced rank is that of Free Scholar. 
Sponsorship of three Provosts is needed, is signified
by a gold scarf, and Free Scholar candidates must play
a prize in the period style to prove their worth
before attaining their rank.

The Provosts and Free Scholars of the Academie hold a
meeting once a year, during which Academie business is
discussed, as well as rapier in Atlantia.
