I, Baron Marcellus Capoziello da Napoli and my fellow Provosts, Lord
Connor Levingstoune and Mistress Ceridwen ferch Owain, do hereby find
Lord Séamus Ó Maoil Riain to be worthy of elevation to the rank of Free
Scholar within the Academie d'Espee. All members of the Academie and
friends of rapier in Atlantia are invited to attend the playing of Lord
Seamus' Free Scholar Prize at Challice of the Sun God III on the
Sixteenth Day of September, in the Barony of Ponte Alto.

Lord Seamus has served the rapier community for over three years as a
doughty and noble fighter, both in tournament and in melees. He serves
the Barony of Ponte Alto as Baronial Herald and Deputy Rapier Marshal,
and has also served a term as its Rapier Champion. He has travelled the
length and breadth of Atlantia and beyond in service as a Royal Guard
and loyal warrior on the field of battle. His martial skills also
extend to the heavy field, where he is authorized in diverse weapons
forms. He is also practiced in the gentler arts, having some skill at
woodworking, costuming, and armoring.

The Playing of the Prize shall commence at approximately 11:30AM, prior
to the start of the Chalice Champion rapier tournament. Lord Seamus
will first face a member of the Order of the White Scarf, followed by
all Free Scholars present. Time permitting, other bouts will be
entertained until such time as the field is required for the Tournament.
