[Ponte Alto] Clarification of how the list server works

I apologize if I'm beating a dead horse and fighting a losing battle,
but this is not the usual harrangue about "stop hitting reply all!"
and is rather an exposé on the naughtiness of technology.

If you carefully examine email headers from the mailing list, you'll
see that the From line is the author, but there's also this sneaky
thing that the list server does, which is to add a Reply-To line.
This causes even the best-intended gentles to send their replies to
the entire list, unless they manually edit the To line in their reply.
It is perfectly reasonable to assume that if you just hit reply (vs
reply all) to an email that your response will only go to that person.
In most cases that is true, but this list server is tricky and causes
your reply to be addressed back to the mailing list.

On behalf of inboxes across the barony, I humbly(?) request that you
do not allow the devious list server to broadcast your
person-to-person emails across the land far and wide. Please remember
that if you don't change who your reply is going to, we will all get
it. Every time. Without fail.

Thank you....

PS - If you want to yell at me for writing this, please note the above
when responding!
