Also Amazon.com has implemented an online donation
system in their page, just like the one they did for
the victims of 9/11.  Donations will go to the Katrina
disaster relief fund for the American Red Cross.

What I have been hearing in the news is that cash
donations to institutions like the Red Cross or the
Salvation Army are encouraged as opposed to goods
donations, as right now the sorting and distributing
of said goods is not very feasible.
