Day at the Races II
November 12th 2005
Barony of Ponte Alto 
Falls Church VA
 
Hear ye all good Gentles   
Is your ship ready yet?  Race day is growing closer and closer!
Ponte Alto's intrepid Captains are making their ships ready for  the 
challenge to see who has the fastest ship in the fleet!  Is your  ship faster?  Come 
join us and see who rules the seas.And who can make  the best ship !
 
The races will be followed by an afternoon of  celebration 
Featuring Dancing and Performances.
All Performers are encouraged to come and share their talent 
 
Also Artisans are encouraged to come and display their works with both  
static and active displays
come and show others how you make all these wonderful crafts
 
Those inclined to the gentle art of gaming my want to test their mettle in  a 
chess tourney in the afternoon
Others games will also be available to wile away an afternoon 
Want To do some shopping? The barony will be holding a Silent auction to  
raise funds for the baronial coffers. 
 
There is bound to be something for everyone!
 
The day will culminate in a grand feast prepare by Master Tirloch and  his 
staff. It promises to be a wonderous feast with a Spanish flair. The old  world 
greets the new with foods never before tasted in these lands.
