Greetings!

As mentioned in the original announcement for the Well Dressed Late Medieval
Woman workshop, I will be hosting follow up workshop sessions the second and
fourth Wednesdays of each month. I have a bit of a cold at the moment - at this
point I anticipate that I'll feel better by then, but if you're planning on
coming, please check this space for up-to-date info. I'll know by mid-day on
Wednesday.

This work session is open and available for anybody who wants to attend,
regardless or gender, project, newbie/oldie status, workshop attendee or not,
etc. The primary topic of the evening will be cutting out the dress from the
pattern that we (well, two of you) made last Sunday at the workshop. That
shouldn't take very long, and there will be plenty of time for other projects,
stitch-n-um...gossip, looking at books, using the cutting table for other
items, etc. Even if you want to just come by and look at books (clothing or
armour - pick your poison), or work on a callig project, or some other portable
project, you're welcome to show up. I will help on whatever I can.

If you want a fitted dress, and couldn't make it last Sunday because of the
snow, etc., please bring what you have, and we'll see what we can do. If you
have a gamurre pattern that's supportive, I see no reason that we can't make it
work. If you have a 4 panel cotte pattern that you think might be *close*, we'll
see if it's reworkable (won't be perfect, but it's a start). Please drop me a
line with what you have, and we'll chat about the possibilities.

Doors open around 7pm. I will start discussing the Topic At Hand (tm) at about
7:30.

Please email me if you're planning on coming, for directions and my phone
number.

See you Wednesday!
Mathilde

PS. Could somebody forward this to other local baronial lists? I'm still trying
to remember which group is where, much less lurking on their lists. :-) Thanks!
