Ahhh, my dearest Corun!  Belphoebe would indeed speak beautiful French, but
alas Laura murders that fair language rather mercilessly . . .

 

Fortunately, both Laura and Belphoebe speak Spanish flawlessly.  Laura
because she is Mexican and Belphoebe because her mother was Spanish.  Also,
Bel spent a number of years in Spain carrying some discreet tasks that were
entrusted to her by the French Crown . . . (we don't talk too much about
that ;-)

 

Laura's ancestors were also Basque, and Belphoebe feels very flattered by
your kind words . . . (blush)
