[Ponte Alto] Report of the Baroness on Sapphire Joust

Greetings!
 
Well, we went to Sapphire Joust and we had a great time.  The Ponte Alto encampment looked great with all the period pavillions and we had the most wonderful people camping with us!  
 
Pontoons distinguished themselves on the list field and the following gentles were invited to participate in the Tournament of Chivalry that took place on Sunday:  Lord Connor Sinclair, Lord Odde ap Tam, Master Kevin of Thornbury, Lady Susanah Grey, and Lord Abel Sussman.  Not only that, but our own Connor Sinclair won a prize for the best dressed fighter on the heavy field!  Way to go Connor!
 
Saturday evening was quite entertaining as well and we did have drumming and fire juggling.  (Don't ask.) 
 
We can only hope that camping at Pennsic will be as much fun and look forward to spending time with all of you there!
