[Ponte Alto] Free Scholar Charity Tournament at Ymir

Greetings Ponte Alto,
As Rapier Champion of Ponte Alto, I will be attending
the Free Scholars' Charity Tournament at Ymir.  As
part of the tournament, the Academie d'Espee is trying
to raise funds for the American Breast Cancer
Foundation.

I will also be attending this week's rapier practice
and this Sunday's melee practice, as well as the next
Baronial Business meeting and Steirbach's Investiture.

The letter from the Academie d'Espee:
To Their Excellencies Thomas of Calais and Denise
Duvalier, Baron & Baroness of the Barony of Ponte
Alto,

We, the Free Scholars of the Academie d’Espee, do
cordially invite you to send forth a Champion in the
Arte of Rapier to represent your Excellencies at the
Free Scholars’ Charity Tournament, to be held at Ymir
on the 14th day of February 2003.

This year we shall be competing in the name of the
American Breast Cancer Foundation, a most noble and
honorable cause whose battle cannot be won by force of
arms, but through Charity, Diligence, and Sacrifice. 
As such, we humbly ask that you and your Champion work
to raise funds from the populace of your lands.  These
monies raised shall be the fee for entry into the
tournament, and all funds raised will be donated to
the American Breast Cancer Foundation.  There shall be
no minimum or maximum amount set for the entry fee,
but please remember that every penny raised is needed
in this fight.

A prize shall be awarded to that Champion who raises
the most money for this Noble Charity as well as to
the winner of the tournament, made by the hand of Her
Grace Duchess Arielle the Golden.  The true winner
however shall be the Kingdom of Atlantia, which
displays great Honor and Charity by aiding in the
fight against breast cancer.

We hope your Excellencies will be able to send forth a
Champion, and that you may support and encourage them
as they take the field at tournament.
