I've watched Lord Ranulf and the Azami Shower Crew at Pennsic, though...It's
amazing what they'll consider "woodworking tools"....

No, given the discussion included Pennsic, armor and combat archery, plus
authorizing in siege weapons, I'm pretty sure the crossbow isn't for
woodworking.
