Greetings to the Barony of Ponte Alto,
The fighter practice/picnic was quite a wet one this afternoon. But
Mother Nature did not deter the 29 gentles who arrived in great spirit for
the Practice/Picnic. We would like to thank all who came to enjoy in the fun
of the day. For those who decided to stay dry, the food was delicious --
pizza, fried chicken, smoked turkey legs were a few delicacies that added to
the camaraderie of this wet afternoon. And thanks again to Baroness Agnes
for her undying service..... thank you Agnes!

On Saturday Nov 16th Ponte Alto will be hosting their fall event, Lady
and the Tiger.  We are very pleased to announce that Their Majesties, King
Cuan and Queen Padraigin, will be gracing us with Their presence as They
journey to our Faire Barony for this glorious event.  To celebrate Their
visit, we would like to bestow a gift basket to TRM at the event.  If you
have something that you would like to donate to the gift basket please
contact us with your name and item to be donated.  Please enclose a small
card with your name and any information or documentation, if applicable, that
you would like to include in your gift.  This is perfect opportunity for
Their Majesties to see the many talents and generosity of our Great Barony.
We will be collecting your donations until the first week on November (so we
have time to assemble the gift basket for the Lady and the Tiger event).  The
basket along with a list of those gentles who contributed so generously will
be available for all to view at the event, before presenting this gift to
Their Majesties at Court.

There will also be a silent auction at Lady and the Tiger. This is a
perfect time to clean out that SCA closet or basket, or go through those SCA
items that you have not used in quite some time. If you have something that
you would like to donate, please contact Baroness Denise.

Yours in Service to this Great Kingdom and Barony,
Baron Sir Thomas of Calais
Baroness Denise Duvalier
