There is also an online version of the article on Washington post.com,
although it has less pictures.

In case you are wondering what Daggorhir is, it is an adult "boffer" group
that has monthly battles in Maryland and Virginia. Rome had its start
there, and it is a great time for heavy fighters. Anyone who is looking for
excellent field fighting is welcome to contact me (winthrop at infodata.com)
and I would be glad to set you up with weapons and shields. Rome as a group
is new to the SCA, and we hope that the article gives a little information
about who we are and what we are all about. We attended the last two
Pennsics and fielded 15 heavy fighters. By the way, we had the time of our
lives! I work with Don Lewis, the Baron of Ponte Alto, and he has given me
a lot of insight into the SCA. We hope to be good members, and welcome any
support, advice, or questions. In the meantime, we are glad to bring some
attention to SCA. People seem to have a hard time understanding this sport.

Ave!

Pendin Tempest Siamicus
Consul of Rome

(Dan Winthrop, Vice-President of the club)
