To the populace of Ponte Alto does Lady Nostas'ia send greetings.

The next newcomers' meeting will be on January 19th starting at 7:30 p.m. 
at the home of Shannon Terry in Annandale. The topic will be medieval food 
and cooking, but as always, all questions are welcome.

Directions:
"Coming from 495:
Take the Little River Turnpike West exit (careful when you are merging onto 
Little River Turnpike) and follow Little River Turnpike (236) through three 
stoplights. You'll need to be in the lefthand lane on Little River (not the 
turnlane, though) by the third light at Wakefield Chapel Road.  You'll know 
that you're on the right track as you pass the NOVA Annandale campus on 
your left.  After the light at Wakefield Chapel, take your first left 
across traffic onto Wakefield Drive.  Wakefield Drive is marked by a sign 
for St. Matthews United Methodist Church.  If you reach the light at 
Prosperity, you've gone too far. On Wakefield Drive, go through 2-3 
stopsigns on the road.  The road is a little windy, so be careful. You'll 
pass Elizabeth Lane on your right and Bonny Lane on your left as you 
continue on Wakefield Drive. As you coast down the hill, you'll spot a grey 
house sitting at the bottom of the hill.  A Marine Corps flag hangs from 
the front porch and at least one car will be parked at the curb.  Just park 
on the street and come on it. If anyone has any problems getting here, just
