Exactly.  And you saw me reacting to a juxtaposition of "its on the calendar/published in the Acorn" + "event is unofficial" (which implied it was being held anyway) + "so we don't charge NMS"   It sounded to me like it WAS published (sorry - didn't check) and it made me twitch.
