On Aug 17th the Shire of Cathanar will be holding our Pennsic Pity Party.  At about 9:30 or 10:00 we will start a fighter paractice.  Or since we are right on the Neuse River, we could go swimming (please bring swimwear)  About 1:00 We will start the stone soup for dinner.  There is no site fee, the fee for feast is to bring something to go into a pot of soup or bread or cheese or some kind of desert.  The site is wet so bring what beverages ye wish.  Tenting is allowed.

Directions:  Take your best route to 70 East in N.C.  Halfway between New Bern on the Left will be Fisher's Landing.  Signs will be posted at the entrance to the park.  Follow the road down to the parking area and let the party begin.
