My dear lady and I are just starting out nad has had some success in making clothing. At the last event I even purchased two hand made wooden chairs for us to use. My wife being of Norwegian descent has a sight were she bought 2 raindeer fur hides to cover the chairs , alas I would love to purchase a Viking tent I found online but we just dont have the money to do that now. I however do have a family hardware store that sells lumber , I have drawn up my tent that I would like to build, but alas I have really no carpentry skills whatsoever so that will have to wait till I can secure some help to build the thing.
As far as hauling things around I have a friend that I am paying to bulid me a cart made of 3/4 inch treated plywood big enough to haul heavy loads , and yes I tried to talk him into buliding the tent but a no go on that one.
I might suggest making these events go from Friday through Saturday and getting access to the site for those who do wish to set up tenting as early on Friday as possible. I know about the cabins at the events I have gone to and the extremely bad conditions of the roads and paths, you would think the park rangers or the State would fix that problem themselves before somebody trips and is injured. I would rather tent and be closer to what is going on than stay in those cabins again buts thats just my opinion.

As far as using todays tents to camp out in maybe some folks that can sew would love to make some bucks sowing covers to put over these tents to make them look peroid , Lord knows I would be glad to work out some kind of payment plan to get one.

As for the coolers , I plan to keep right on using mine . My wife has hand sown a cover to place over the cooler and its is big enough so you cannot see it. The same with a table cover for our fold out camping table. Lord knows there are ways to cover things to make them presentable even if you cant afford the bucks to make or have real peroid furniture. Its not that hard to do.
