   The way things are presently set up, as long as they want. The only way in 
which rules are changed is that they must be ratified by the board. The only 
way to get on the board is to be voted on by the board. I don't know any of 
the board members personally and am not going to make unwarranted accusations 
about their personal honor. I just question the way things are presently set 
up and are run.
  I'm not breeding paranoia. I merely have concerns about the way in which 
this was handled. I know too much about many of the allegations to take them 
as presented by the BoD. I have been told by folks in An Tir that the BoD has 
threatened them with mass ugliness if they don't go along with the R&amp;D. I 
find it interesting that neither the An Tir Seneschal nor the present Royals 
support the BoD's decision.
  As to the extent of the power of the BoD, the only recourse we have as 
members if we disagree with their policies is to quit playing. That's a lot 
of power...
