Baron Allejandro and others have been coordinating with Aldwin's family to arrange his memorial service.  The date has TENTATIVELY been set for Monday, 17 September at Camp Whispering Pines in Umstead Park in Cary, NC.  No announcements have been made, because we are awaiting confirmation from his family.  I only pass this along so that people can be ready.

<BR>Last night people gathered at Rohan's house and our house (we had at least 15 at our place).  We shared stories, looked at pictures and some videos with Aldwin in them from Pennsic and Twelfth Night and some photo shoots that we did in March.  And we read through some of the posts.  We laughed.  We cried.  We hugged and drank some beer until well past midnight.  Most uf us had a smile at the end of the evening, but we have a long way to go.

Ciaran and Juliana, (Dave and Lola Gunter), will be flying (yes, flying) in from Seattle to attend the service and be with friends.  They should arrive tonight at around 5:30, and staying in a hotel near Rohan's place.

<BR>Here's how to get to Umstead Park:  Take your best route to I-40 in Cary, NC.  Get off at Exit 287 (Harrison Avenue).

If you are traveling East on I-40, turn Left onto Harrison Avenue.  If you are traveling West on I-40, turn Right onto Harrison Avenue.

<BR>

Continue forward - in short order you'll be driving straight into the park.  Follow the signs to Camp Whispering Pines.

Two of our number have vowed to go on diets because of all of this.  I say to all of you reading this - PLEASE.  Take good care of yourselves.  Drive safely.  Don't wait to get help if you need it, and if you don't know what to do, talk to someone.  You probably have no idea how many of us would be badly wounded if we lost you.
