<div>I have been involved with the Drachenwalds Childerns guild</div>
<div>and yes some drop off the kids, but when the expectations are clear
fewer just leave em.</div>
<div>here we try to weave the childerns activities into the day and the
court/feast</div>
<div>usually with an activity (A&S type) some games and as I am a
heavy fighter</div>
<div>I encourage and help develop boffer and some martial stuff.</div>
<div>Primarily we endeavor to ensure there is a playground at the
site</div>
<div>and also the very dedicated staffers for the guild are always
around.</div>

<div>The practice is that the guild has a leader who maintains some
records for the kids</div>
<div>which include an award system for attendance, good behavior,
activities etc...</div>
<div>This person also coordinates regional guild leaders to ensure
someone is at every event</div>
<div>at least to help supervise the kids somehow, along with the
parents.</div>
<div>I must state that in Drachenwald everyone in the group are the
childrens minders.</div>
