Greetings!
Bright Hills Baronial Birthday is coming up the second weekend in February and there is a lot of A&S happening.  We hope you join us for the fun! Some of the things happening include:
A&S Championship Competition: In honor of Bright Hill’s 30th Anniversary, artisans are invited to show off their A&S creations.  Provide minimum documentation of what, when, where, and how, and consider using the EZ Doc form as starting point. Judging will use the generic rubric from the Atlantian MoAS website. Bonus Points will be awarded for projects that honor Bright Hills, the history of Bright Hills, as well as entries that feature mythological creatures such as dragons or sea monsters. Please contact Aymée Jocelyn thecostumediva at gmail.com for questions regarding the competition.

EZ-DOC: The Form That Writes Documentation For You

Open Display: Space will be provided for artisans to display their most recent projects, completed or in progress.  For questions, contact Bright Hills MOAS Deirdre O’Bardon at Deirdre_obardon at yahoo.com about display!

Largesse Competition: Much like our sister baronies have done, this contest asks participants to make thirteen items for either the Barony or the Kingdom, or a combination of both. The winner will be decided by the populace. One item from each entry will be awarded to the winner while the rest of the items will go to the Barony of Bright Hills or the Kingdom of Atlantia for their largess stash.  Please contact Dame Wynn jay_wynne at hotmail.com with questions about the Largesse competition.

Poetry Competition:  Deirdre O’Bardon is again sponsoring a poetry competition. Each entry should be in a period style.  Documentation is requested, not required, but will affect the score.  Minimum documentation should include the type of poem, what is required to write that type of poem (ex. number of lines per stanza, specific rhyme or alliteration scheme, etc.) and where you found your information.  If you are having trouble finding/creating documentation, please contact Deirdre at Deirdre_obardon at yahoo.com  At least one prize will be offered!
Bardic Competion: Bring your full bardic arsenal of stories, songs, poems, tongue twisters and who knows what else to Bright Hills Baronial Birthday. The next Bright Hills Baronial Bardic Champion will be chosen in a bardic bearpit at Bright Hills Baronial Birthday on February 10! There will be challenges galore with a prize and the bardic title for the winner! We look forward to seeing you there.
