Noble Friends,

Today the History Blog presents a feature on restoration of the stained
glass at Great Malvern Priory in Worcestershire, England. This former
Benedictine monastic house, the building is now an Anglican parish church.
It boasts one of the finest collections of 15th century stained glass
windows left in England.

The glass has suffered badly over time, particularly from pitting due to
water leaching out the potash used in its original manufacture. Although
not all the damage is repairable without installing new panes, the medieval
glass in the Creation story is now cleaned, stabilized and restored to most
of its former glory.

The story is at https://www.thehistoryblog.com/archives/67152 .

A Wikipedia page on the Great Malver Priory is found at
