Noble Friends,

A few days ago the BBC Cambridgeshire Regional edition offered a report on
a study of medieval skeletons by Cambridge University. The study is called
AFTER THE PLAGUE.

The study analyzed over 500 skeletons of common people that have been
recovered from excavations during recent years. It revealed a great deal of
information on how these people lived and died during the middle ages.

What makes the BBC story so interesting are four exquisite watercolor
paintings by artist Mark Gridley showing how Cambridge's commoners dressed,
shopped and died. These images are keepers, folks.

The BBC story is at
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-cambridgeshire-67582456 .

The AFTER THE PLAGUE study has a stable website at
https://www.aftertheplague.org .
