[MR] Consult Table at Bright Hills Birthday!

Greetings fellow Atlantians!

The Barony of Bright Hills will soon be celebrating their birthday.   Her Excellency Baroness Rebecca, the Autocrat, has graciously provided a space for the Heralds for a consult table.

Normally, heraldic clients would wait until the event, sign in at the consult table and wait their turn for their names, arms and/or badges.  By starting your submission it will allow for swift transactions at the event.  If for some reason you can’t make it to the event then you will still have your submission prepared for processing at the earliest time available.

I would like to try something different this time to ensure the best possible consults take place.  So, as with many of our events, I am asking that anyone wishing to start a consultation to please preregister with your Blue Shark Herald, Dame Wynne ferch Rhodri.  To do so, follow the steps below.

1.    Send an e-mail with the following:
       a.    Mundane name
       b.    Type of submission (name, device, badge) Only two subs at this time please.
       c.    The name, device, badge you wish to submit.
            i.    When describing a device or badge, use regular English words.  You may also send a picture.
            ii.    For names, send their country of origin, time-period, any web site addresses or books you used.
            iii.    Send to: jay _ wynne AT Hotmail DOT com
2.    An e-mail will be sent to you to confirm receipt of your information.
3.    When arriving, sign-in to the consult table.  Most of the paperwork and research should be done and a submission would be ready to go.
4.    Please remember, checks or money orders are happily accepted.  Make them out to: SCA Inc, College of Heralds of Atlantia.  Each submission element will cost $10.00.

Heralds, volunteers would also be welcome!  Come a learn how easy a consult table can be.
