Noble Friends,

Today the History Blog presents an interesting summary on restoration and
cleaning work done on the Metropolitan Museum of Art's King Arthur
tapestry. The tapestry is among five survivors from a set of nine that have
hung in the Cloisters Gallery since 1947.

With the text is an outstanding Met Youtube video of the cleaning and
restoration. How do you clean a 600 year-old tapestry? Watch and learn.

The story and video are at http://www.thehistoryblog.com/archives/65898 .

Yours Aye,

Mungo Napier, Laird of Mallard Lodge 🦆
