[MR] Kingdom Chancellor of Youth position open

Unto the Kingdom of Atlantia, greetings from the Kingdom Seneschal.



Lady Katherine of the Doves, the current Kingdom Chancellor of Youth, is
stepping down from her position at 12th Night.  She has done an excellent
job in the position, and she will leave large shoes to fill.



And fill them, we must.



The Kingdom Chancellor of Youth is an Officer of State position, per
Kingdom Law.  Therefore, all applications must go the Kingdom Seneschal and
Their Majesties, who will make the final decision.

*Duties and Responsibilities of the Kingdom Chancellor of Youth*





·         Establish and oversee Kingdom non-combat-related youth programs.



·         Keep Local Youth Officers and the Seneschalate notified of
relevant changes to the Kingdom Chancellor of Youth’s office, and
facilitate communication among officers using email, reports, paper forms
and texts.



·         Develop programs and policies to assist officers in welcoming the
youth of Atlantia to the Kingdom and the SCA; provide support and resource
materials to the youth officers within the Kingdom.



·         Develop and maintain guidelines related to offering youth
programming at events.



·         Ensure the coordination of Youth Activity Programs at Atlantian
Kingdom-level events and assist in coordinating of Atlantian-sponsored
activities at inter-kingdom wars, universities, and colleges, as
appropriate. Coordinate the Children's Fete at Pennsic and Children's and
Youth activities at War of the Wings.



·         Oversee and aid Local Youth Officers, Regional Vice-Chancellors,
Youth Officers-at-Large, and the Dean of Pages’ as required.



·         Maintain a current roster of all warranted Youth Officers in
Atlantia.



·         Provide guidance and encouragement for all youth within the
Kingdom of Atlantia.



·         Oversee, guide, and support, of all Kingdom youth activities and
programs.
