Noble Friends,
Hot off the BBC, and thanks to Lady Sarah who was surfing there when it
came in! Archaeologists from the Museum of London have just announced an
"internationally important" necklace from a burial site under excavation
near Northampton.
The necklace is composed of "Roman coins, gold, garnets, glass and
semi-precious stones". It was found in a woman's grave thought to be 1,300
years old.
See the bling, both cleaned and uncleaned, at

The story mentions the Desborough Necklace in the British Museum:

Yours Aye,
Mungo Napier, Laird of Mallard Lodge 🦆
