The arrows slice through the sky
The fires brightly burn
The smell of food wafts through the air

The poets craft their beautiful word

The bards recite and sing

The sound of laughter fair is heard

Yes!  Trial by Fire and Royal Archery are happening in less than a week on October 1-3.  Join us for fun in Bright Hills but remember that you need to preregister now.  SCA-rs registration ( https://members.sca.org/apps/#MtgDetail/00001081 ) closes tonight at midnight.  Checks must be received no later than Thursday and may be sent, along with your legal name, membership number and phone number, to Debbie Eccles, 707 Hammershire Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117.
