[MR] BBC Reel: Miracle Rings of Ourense

Recently BBC Reel offered a very interesting video concerning the Nine
Rings of Ourense. According to legend, these rings belonged to nine
bishops. After their deaths, the rings were believed to have miraculous
healing powers. The rings were kept at the Galician monastery of Santo
Estevo, but later disappeared.

For many years author María Oruña researched the history of the nine rings
for her novel THE FOREST OF THE FOUR WINDS. Recently four of the rings were
rediscovered in the monastery almost exactly as in her novel.
