[MR] History Blog: Rare Viking Nested Boat Grave Found

Noble Friends, Especially Vikings,

Today the History Blog is reporting the discovery of a two-boat burial in
central Norway. The burial is even more unusual as the more recent boat is
carefully nested inside the larger and earlier grave. The earlier grave
containing a warrior dates to the 7th century, and the second burial is of
an 8th century woman.

Attached to the text story is a nifty little video which shows how the two
graves were carefully arranged, and suggests the types of clothing the
occupants wore.
