Is there a curse on the Bard's play MACBETH? It is true that actors will
not even whisper its name, but euphemistically call it "The Scottish Play"
from fear of invoking the curse? Have lead actors died while performing the
play?

Well, you are going to have to watch the BBC's feature story to find out.
It is an entertaining little clip, and doesn't exactly take itself all that
seriously. There are interesting, and bizarre, facts aplenty associated

And no, the real Macbeth was hardly the monster of Shakespeare's bloody
confection. Macbeth did not murder Duncan, but rather slew him in battle, a
battle Duncan started. There was little opposition to Macbeth then taking
the crown, and he successfully ruled Alba (just a part of what would become
Scotland) for 17 years:
