Noble Friends,

So yesterday was the Up Helly Aa fire festival and drink-a-thon at a number
of places in Scotland. The largest was at Lerwick in the Shetland Islands.
A lot like a Mardi Gras celebration, the various Jarl Squads were elaborate
uniforms that mimic Viking garb and weapons. Impressive, but hardly period
correct.
