Noble Friends,

Today BBC Travel is offering an interesting story on the survival, and
revival, of the Occitan language (aka Langue d'Oc). While the story is
modern, the language definitely is NOT. It is a regional dialect that has
survived since the middle ages, in fact the language of the Troubadours.

You can learn more about Occitan at

Yours Aye,

Mungo Napier, Laird of Mallard Lodge 🦆
