[MR] BBC: Staffordshire Hoard Helmet Reconstructed

Noble Friends, Especially Saxons,

Today the BBC is offering a spectacular photo essay showing a replica of
the helmet found in pieces as part of the Staffordshire Hoard nine years
ago. Nearly a third of the more than 4,000 gold fragments from this hoard
were from this one helmet. Not enough remained to rebuild the original
helmet, so this amazing replica was  has been made to show how it would
have looked.
