[MR] BBC: Funeral of Aethelflaed, Lady of the Saxons

Noble Friends,

To mark the 1,100th anniversary of her death, the citizens of Gloucester
held a re-enactment funeral and procession for Aethelflaed, Lady of the
Saxons. She was a ruler and war leader who fought both the Vikings and the
Welsh. The re-enactment included a "visit" by Vikings in their longship.
