[MR] Skeleton found in Thames with Thigh-high boots

Noble friends,

Today the History blog has a brief story with photos of a male skeleton
found in the Thames mud wearing thigh-high leather boots. The skeleton is
though to date from around 1500, and he probably died from accidental
drowning while working on the docks or in a related trade. There is a lot
